Hello and Welcome! I'm a reading specialist, writer and poet, and a certified Journal to the Self® instructor. I’m also a licensed acupuncturist and have worked in the field of mental health and addiction recovery for over twenty years. I have witnessed the power of writing for healing and self-growth in my own life and in the lives of others.
As a reading specialist, I teaching reading skills for children and adults, including word recognition, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension and writing skills. I offer specialized support for teens in recovery and mental health treatment centers.
My own journaling practice has led to various creative endeavors, such as a book and spoken word meditations and poetry. When I learned about Journal to the Self, I was excited-this is how I want to contribute and help others. I hope you will join me for a workshop, take advantage of writing prompts I offer, or listen to a short meditative message designed to encourage and inspire you to live the best life you can.

Journal to the Self® is a curriculum developed by Kathleen Adams, that teaches you to gently but powerfully explore the various aspects of yourself, your goals and vision for life, and your relationship with others.
