She wears clunky shoes with thick soles, but her socks pink with yellow flowers. She says hello to everyone she meets and always has a big smile. If you stop to have a conversation with her, she will listen earnestly.
If you share a problem with her, she will think about it constantly until she comes up with a solution. It may be bold, or something way out there, but it usually works.
She will be the first to show up at your dinner party, and will immediately get to work, setting the table, or reminding you to take a deep breath. She will be the last to leave, having loaded your dishwasher and taken out the trash. She is always ready to come over and help you clean out your closet and organize your bookshelf.
You might think she is plain-looking with her faded jeans and sturdy shoes, but every once in a while she will wow you with a shimmering black dress and strappy heels, hair done up in a fancy French twist. But when she comes home, she might empty the dishwasher so her morning self doesn’t have to worry about it, and she will prepare the coffee pot to brew right before she gets up. She likes to think of all the ways she can make life easier for herself, and she’s not afraid to do the work to make it so.
