A Letter to Abundance

The following is a “letter to abundance” sample for my Word of the Year Journal Guide.
Dear Abundance,
It feels like I’m always just missing you and yet I know you are here, all around me. In so many ways! Sometimes I forget to acknowledge you in the lush rose bushes, or the school of dolphins swimming in the ocean. I don’t really see the bright cherry blossoms because I’m too worried about what I’m not seeing in my bank account.
I know that I have been blessed in so many ways, and yet I can’t help but worry about the debt that has piled up- and continues to pile up! I don’t know how I’m ever going to pay it all. And what will happen when I’m older? I don’t have a retirement fund to rely on.
So, I believe these are valid concerns. But I also want to have the right mindset to deal with it all. I want to be more confident in myself and know that I can take care of it all. I also need some new ideas as to how to do that.
I guess I’m wondering, how do I live in abundance as things are now? How do I increase my income to take care of myself, my bills, and my debt?
What do I need to know?
How can I work with you better?
What am I missing?
I would appreciate any insights you have.
With love,
Marcy
